Avens
Avens Montréal is a business law firm experiencing growing success. Located in a downtown Montreal building owned by Manulife Real Estate, Avens Montréal reached the maximum capacity of its office space and decided to extend its offices to the entire floor.
The project’s initial phase involved the demolition of over 60% of the floor. We then built new meeting rooms, a kitchenette and a reception (including custom cabinetry). Lastly, we refinished all the walls, ceilings and floors. In addition to the tenant’s remodelling requests, this project also included upgrading the ventilation systems, as requested by the lessor.
The major challenge in this project was the tight timeline for delivering the new space to Avens Montréal. A meticulously phased-out approach was critical to limit impacts on the firm’s operations.
